TOEICって何? TOEIC 語彙問題

今回は一挙にTOEIC 語彙問題を紙面が許す限りやっていきます。この語彙問題、TOEIC 攻略に役立つだけでなく、カナダで生活するにも役立つものを厳選しました。そして、今回の問題に出てきた単語の使い方を最後でまとめました。

句動詞go over は、このかたまりでひとつの動詞として意味を持ちます。会話の内容で意味も変わるので注意してください。

7. The company is doing well in spiteof the recession.(その会社は、景気後退にもかかわらず業績が良い)

8. In light of what you have told us, we should go ahead with the proposal.(あなたが私たちに話してくれたことを考慮にいれると、その提案は先に進めるべきだ)

9. I switched to a new doctor. (私は、医者をかえた)
switch off the light(電気を消す)は、おなじみですが、生活の中ではこの例文の様に”make a change= かえる”という意味で使うことが多いです。

10. He was diagnosed with cancer. (彼は、ガンだと診断された)

11. He will be admitted to the hospital tomorrow.(彼は明日入院するだろう)

12. He is now in the hospital to have an operation.(彼は手術を受けるため、入院中だ)

13. He was discharged from the hospital.(彼は退院した)
