下記条件に当てはまるLMIA申請書は今後申請が受け付けられないことが決定しました。

宿泊・飲食・販売業における特定のLow-wageポジション
現在のキャップ以上のLow-wageポジション
アルバータ州における特定のHigh-wageポジション
Live-inが条件のケアーギバー
過去2年以内にLMIA申請が取り消しになったことがある

｜宿泊・飲食・販売業における特定のLow-wageポジション
失業率が6%以上の地域の下記職業
NOC 6541: Security guards and related security service occupations
NOC 6611: Cashiers
NOC 6622: Other sales support and related occupations
NOC 6711: Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations
NOC 6721: Support occupations in accommodation, travel and facilities set-up services
NOC 6731: Light duty cleaners
NOC 6732: Specialized cleaners
NOC 6733: Janitors, caretakers and building superintendents
NOC 7611: Construction trades helpers and labourers
NOC 8611: Harvesting labourers

｜現在のキャップ以上のLow-wageポジション
Low-wageポジションにおける外国人労働者の割合に制限をもたらす”キャップ”があるのですが、その割合は：

2014年6月20日以前にLow-wageポジションの外国人労働者を雇用したことがある場合は、20％もしくは現在の割合（どちらか低い方）
2014年6月20日以前にLow-wageポジションの外国人労働者を雇用したことがない場合は10%

同じ職場、そして同じLow-wageポジションにおける外国人労働者の割合がキャップ以上であるとLMIA申請はできません。

アルバータ州政府はカナダ国籍保有者が最優先で雇用されるべく、下記職業のLMIA申請書の受付をストップすることを発表しました

NOC 1225: Purchasing agents and officers
NOC 1523: Production logistics co-ordinators
NOC 2131: Civil engineers
NOC 2132: Mechanical engineers
NOC 2133: Electrical and electronic engineers
NOC 2212: Geological and mineral technologists and technicians
NOC 2231: Civil engineering technologists and technicians
NOC 2233: Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians
NOC 2261: Non-destructive testers and inspection technicians
NOC 7202: Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades and telecommunications occupations
NOC 7231: Machinists and machining and tooling inspectors
NOC 7237: Welders and related machine operators
NOC 7241: Electricians (except industrial and power system)
NOC 7242: Industrial electricians
NOC 7251: Plumbers
NOC 7271: Carpenters
NOC 7301: Contractors and supervisors, mechanic trades
NOC 7302: Contractors and supervisors, heavy equipment operator crews
NOC 7311: Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics
NOC 7312: Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
NOC 7322: Motor vehicle body repairers
NOC 7511: Transport truck drivers

｜Live-inが条件のケアーギバー
対象となるのは下記職業です
NOC 3012: Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
NOC 3233: Licensed practical nurses
NOC 4411: Home child care providers
NOC 4412: Home support workers, housekeepers and related occupations
求人広告場にて「住み込み（Live-in）」を雇用条件に記載しており、LMIA申請書においても同雇用条件を示唆している場合、LMIA申請書は受け付けられません。
【例外】
医療ニーズが高い方（例：障害を抱えている、高齢、慢性的もしくは末期症状の患者）を介護する場合は証明書を申請に含むことでLive-inが条件でも申請を受け付けられます。
